Christmas Music that Doesn't Suck?

Loni asked me to put together the Christmas Eve shindig's music mix. Her only request was that Dominic the Donkey makes the list. Check.

I've started it...But am open to suggestions...Got any?

i am a trditionalist - you have to go with "White Christmas". it has to be the bing crosby version and everyone has to sing along.

any of the "A Very Special Christmas " CDs, featuring( there are least 5 of them)...Run DMC, Sting,Madonna, Smashing Pumpkins, Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, Mary J Blige, U2, Tom Petty.... the list is endless. I would bet they are on I tunes, but I'm pretty sure they are on Amazon too!

I am also a sucker for the traditional. My favorite carol is We Wish You a Merry Christmas, sang by Judy Garland. I suggest it for any Christmas celebration.

its not quite christmas music but Brandi Carlile has a version of Hallelujah (live at KRCW.com) that's pretty darn good...
