Parking Wars

Has anyone else seen this show? Adam and I have watched some episodes in the last couple of weeks and for some reason, I find it so funny. Parking Wars is a show on A&E, chronicling the Parking Authority in Philly.

Annnyway, on their website, they have a really fun game. If you're looking to kill a little time, give it a shot. I'm not very good. Yet. I'm up to 15,000 points. Give it a shot and let me know your score!

A funny news story

I read this article in the Portsmouth Herald this morning and chuckled...Until I got to the last paragraph.

My advice, for a mid-week laugh - read the article - but skip the last paragraph!

Hopefully Bullwinkle is just a little confused and isn't sick.

Some Photos

Here are some photos of our new apartment in CT...Let's start off with the view from the deck:

Moving indoors, here's our kitchen, this is where you walk into our place - you can see the front door on the far right of the picture:

From the kitchen, you walk into the "dining room" or where Adam studies most of the time. You can see his boat in the lefthand side of the photo, um, it hasn't seen any water since July...

Because, he's had his nose in these...

Moving on, here's our livingroom, we call this the "cozy corner" - Mag, you may recognize the plant in this picture - she's still going strong!

Here's Kobe's spot, I just bought him a new squeeky toy yesterday, and already the guts are everywhere. So destructive, that Kobe...

I know that you have no interest in seeing our bathroom. But, I'm throwing this in here so that Grandma can see, the jade's DO get sun in the bathroom...

And, here's my office...

We have a couple of state forests with lots of acres to explore within a ten minute drive. I take Kobe to one of them, once a day, so that he can remember he's a country dog - even though we live "in town" now. I took the camera along one day last week. When we jumped out of the car, we were being all loud and apparently, the resident coyotes did not like that, because we were greeted by lots of howling, not too far away from us. I was scared...

It's pretty out there...

Finally, here are the boys, enjoying a nice fall day out in the woods. I hope you all have a great week.
